Mary Alice: This is the street where I used to live and these were the people with whom I shared my life. I met them the day they moved in. And I saw what they brought with them. Beautiful dreams for the future. And quiet hopes for a better life. Not just for themselves, but for their children, too. If I could, would I tell them what lies ahead? Would I warn them of the sorrow and betrayal that lie in store? No. From where I stand now, I see enough of the road to understand how it must be traveled. The trick is to keep moving forward, to let go of the fear and the regret that slow us down and keep us from enjoying a journey that will be over too soon. Yes, there will be unexpected bends in the road, shocking surprises we didn’t see coming, but that’s really the point. Don’t you think?

The Hunger Games and Desperate Housewives Appreciation Post

Desperate Housewives

1. The first character I first fell in love with - Gabrielle Solis
I mean, it took me seriously about two seconds to fell in love with her character, she is awesome, gorgeous, beautiful and funny. And her laugh always made me laugh too. I want to be like her.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now - Bree Van De Kamp
At first, she appeared just like some boring housewife, but she is much more. I like the fact she always go with dignity even in the most awkward situations. I admire her strength.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t - Lynette Scavo
It’s not like I hate her, but she’s not exactly my favorite. I get her some times, but most of the time, I’m like WTF is she doing. Most of the time I hated the way she threated Tom, I actually don’t get why is she so popular, because I think in real life, noone would be able to live with her for so long.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates - Susan Mayer
I don’t get the hate. Susan is great character, yes she can  be annoying sometimes, but guess what? Everyone sometimes is. I love her in the first few seasons more then in the last ones, because she always made some awkward situation, she was all clumsy and adorable. Just like me, except the adorable part.

5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer - Orson Hodge
I loved him with Bree, I hoped they will get together at the end, so I was absolutely happy when he came back and save Bree and I was incredibly pissed off when I find out what he did to Bree. I don’t understand why the creators of the show screwed up his character so much. It wasn’t at his character at all!

6.The character I would totally smooch - Carlos Solis
I love the way he protected Gabrielle, he is handsome, especially in the last seasons. And he is rich (or he was most of the time) that is always plus. I wouldn’t mind dancing tango with him for the rest of my life.

7. The character I’d want to be like - Gabrielle Solis
I have been choosing between Gaby and Bree, but I finally chose Gaby, because I just love her. And I’m already like her in many ways, but of course I’m not as pretty as she is.

8. The character I’d slap - Katherine Mayfair
Oh my god, she was just the most annoying character of all the time. I don’t know why she got so many time at screen and why she stayed for so long. She was just pathetic.

9. A pairing that I love - Gaby and Carlos
Well I mostly like all the pairing in the show. But these two win, because they are incredibly good and funny together. And I just loved how Carlos protected Gaby, especially in the last seasons.

10. A pairing that I despise - Bree and Rex
I never liked them together. Rex was just boring and Bree was also more fun without him.

Hunger Games

1. Your favorite character - Finnick Odair
It took my about one sentence before I fell in love with him. He was definitely the best character, because he was so brave and everything.

2. A character you hate that everyone loves - Katniss Everdeen
It’s not like I hate her, but she is not my favorite character at all, I don’t know what people likes about her. Yes, she is brave, so what? Most of the characters in the books are. She just annoyed me really often.

3. A scene that made you laugh - “We just saw Finnick Odair in his underwear”
That seriously almost killed me.

4. A scene that made you cry - Finnick’s death
Well I cried during the last 100 pages of the book, but this was the first scene that made my cry. Well I was actually very hysterical.

5. The character you are most like - Annie
It’s not like I am so labil as she is. But I think that I have something from her crazinest. And I didn’t know which other character I should choose.

6. A character you love that everyone hates - Gale
I don’t know if everyone hates him, but I guess so. Anyhow I couldn’t help myself. I liked him a lot.

7. Character you wish hadn’t died - Finnick Odair
Obviously.

8. Your favorite scene in The Hunger Games - Cave scenes
I don’t know why, but I guess that was it.

9. Your favorite scene in Catching Fire - Finnick Odair in fishnet
Do I have to say reason?

10. Your favorite scene in Mockingjay - Wedding of Finnick and Annie
Don’t need any commentary, does it?
